The Badger Team were pumped to recently receive this testimonial from a keen climber who took his Badger Freeza Socks to Nepal! The stunning pictures he sent show the rough, unforgiving terrain he put the socks though…and they survived the test!
What he had to say:
Hi Nick,
Just got back from trekking and mountaineering in Nepal.
These (photos) were taken on Kongma La Pass (5480m) where we camped, before summitting Pokalde Peak (5810m). That’s Pokalde Peak in the background of the socks and campsite photos, and Ama Dablam taken from Pokalde Peak above the clouds. The frozen shoes were the porter’s spare shoes. No problems with the Badger Freezer socks, even after about 18 days of solid trekking and climbing. In case you really wanted to know, only managed to have a shower and wash clothes about every 7-10 days. The high wool content certainly helped keep the foot odour in check too.
Think that might deserve a few more pairs of socks 😊. Glad to be promoting Australian made products.
As he says, the high quality Australian Merino in the Freeza Socks combats foot odour and helps regulate your foot temperature. This makes them awesome for any cold conditions – from the Nepalese mountains to your chilly warehouse!
